Blessing)
At our wedding we had a song from The Muppet Christmas Carol. It's the song of blessing that Tiny Tim (Robin) sings to the Bob Cratchitt family (Kermit, Miss Piggy, Robin, and two miniature Miss Piggies) before they begin the meager Christmas dinner that touches Mr. Scrooge's (Michael Cain) heart. The name of the song is "Bless Us All." The song includes wonderful words about laughing and playing games together (important to our families), and love of family. I think Paul Allen composed it. My husband and I had seen the movie on one of our dates, and now we traditionally watch the movie every year and play the song whenever we have Christmas at our house. It was a lovely blessing for our wedding and only those close to us know that it's a Muppet song! Barbara White |
