About Shockwave Audio:

Shockwave Audio is a new streaming audio format, similar to RealAudio. The advantage of using a streaming audio format is that you don't have to wait for the entire file to download before listening to the audio track. Just push the play button (the large triangle) and in a few moments the track will begin playing.

Note: Your computer must have sound capablities in order for you to hear the audio. You must have an installed sound card and speakers (or have a Macintosh).

Are you seeing the broken plug-in icon (a broken icon with a puzzle piece on it) instead of the Shockwave audio player? You will need to install the Shockwave player plug-in in order to listen to the audio. Macromedia, publisher of Shockwave, has excellent instructions for downloading their player at www.macromedia.com.

Hint: Unlike the RealAudio player, Shockwave does not allow you to roam to other pages while it's playing the audio track. You can get around this by opening a new browser window. However, you should be careful of overloading your browser's memory allotment.
