As
Hectors campaign gains momentum, Ajax invites Hector to a fashionable
speakeasy. A revue dancer, performing a female impersonation, startles
Hector with his easy abandon. Helen pleads with Hector that her
love is real, but Hector will not admit that he still loves her.
As Ajax outlines another fraudulent publicity stunt, Hector rushes
out. Helen finds Hector in a coffee shop and tells him that Ajax
has manipulated her. Jason enters and attempts to take Helen home.
Before they leave, Hector admits he loves Helen.
