            Hector
comes to his senses and begs Helens forgiveness. She tells him
she still loves him, but believes it would be better if she leaves
the city. Left alone, Hector sees a vision of their lives without
each other, and realizes that he cannot live without her. Just as
Helen is about to end her life at the Brooklyn Bridge, Hector stops
her and tells her their love must survive. Hector learns he has
won the election. Ajax arrives to offer his friendship, and is quickly
arrested. The characters face uncertainty and promise as Hectors
              Presidency begins.
