![]() Llef I (the bride) sang in a mixed quartet for a number of years before I was married. So, at the wedding I and the rest of the quartet sang "Llef" (a Welsh tune) from the back of the church. Then I walked down the aisle and sang "One Hand, One Heart" to my groom. As we knelt at the altar, the tenor and alto from the quartet sang "Teach Us to Pray" and for recessional the bass from the quartet sang "More Than the Greatest Love." The best part of the wedding was the music. In 1970 people were not singing anything but "Oh Promise Me," "Oh Perfect Love," "The Wedding Prayer" and "Ruth." So, my wedding music was considered quite modern and bold. The music was the talk of our small town for years. Myrene Peterson |
