Odes to Joy home

The loveliest wedding music I have ever heard (besides that at my own wedding) was the music at my sister's wedding.

My sister Anje has always been a Disney movie fan, particularly the animated movies. She collects Disney memorabilia and videos.

Her prelude was a medley of Disney themes played by the organist, who was the groom's oldest sister. She loved hearing how people first heard the beautiful strains of the organ, and then recognized that this wasn't your traditional pre-wedding music. The bridal party's processional was "Beauty and the Beast," causing us all to be in tears.

Another special touch was their "special" music. Kevin is the youngest of nine, and as a result has several nieces and nephews. All the nieces sang a song for the special music. Their young voices were very touching.
