Odes to Joy home

When we were planning our wedding over a year ago, I offered the suggestions and my husband-to-be would yea or nay them. Sometimes he didn't know the song I was suggesting, so I would play a CD that had it. One that I thought would be really sweet, though, and that he had never heard was "Devoted to You" (which I believe Carly Simon and James Taylor did), but I didn't have a recording of it. I sang it for him in with my imperfect and waivering voice and he loved it.

We chose it to be the song played during the lighting of the unity candle— no vocals, just piano. He has since heard the recorded version but still requests that I sing it for him all the time. More than any other music from our wedding, it has become our song.
