Music has always been a part of my life, as my wife's. Erin is a music teacher and sings all the time and is classically trained. I am a singer/songwriter of the rock vein. We both wanted to sing at our wedding. It was amazing. I have done a lot of gigs where I have played before people who were more critical and tougher on me than my own family, but I had never been so nervous as when I picked up my guitar and sang "Give Yourself To Love" by Kate Wolf.

Erin later sang "Ave Maria" in honor of her mother who passed away before we were married. I don't know how she made it through the song, but she later commented it was as if her mother was with her.

I thought it was the greatest wedding in the world, and one I would not trade for any other.
