Odes to Joy home

My husband and I traveled to California to be married in front of our relatives there. We found a synagogue and rabbi willing to marry us (a "mixed" couple, Jewish and Christian) but didn't tell them about our music choices. We had a four piece band play "Stand By Me" as the processional. Then, the recessional started with "When I'm 64" (my husband will be 64 on our 20th anniversary) and next, "Let's Go to the Hop." Our reception was at Bill Medley's theme nightclub "The Hop" in Fountain Valley, California!
